Walking around Bethlehem

Described in the Bible as the town where Jesus was born, Bethlehem today is a big city in Palestine. I went there on Sunday to relax and buy some souvenirs, although unfortunately by the time I got there, there were no church services happening that I was aware of.
Here are some pictures.

Outside the Church of the Nativity, which is believed to have been built on the birthplace of Jesus.

Renovation work on the church is being done by the Palestinian Authority.

A priest and a PA police officer sit quietly as pilgrims pray.

Inside the church.
