Another Friday in Kafr Kaddum (photos and video) - pre-demonstration

Murad and Abu Masr show some of the new ISMers around the village- or at least the parts where the soldiers aren't in yet. At this point the demonstration had not yet started but they were already in the hills and on the road. Clashes were already going on between them and the shebab.
Murad's friends putting up pieces of plywood to block his windows. The army often fires skunk water and teargas cannisters through them and through the windows of other people's homes- sometimes in the heat of battle with the shebab, often intentionally during raids.

Many Palestinian homes in the village have installed metal grates outside their windows to protect them from the gas canisters (2).

Some of the youth walking down the road, trying to see where the soldiers who entered their village are located. Minor clashes were taking place prior to the start of the demonstration.

Before the demonstration started, some of them noticed the Army and Border Police already were in the village. Clashes started, though in the beginning they were small.
