Random photos from Palestine

August 3, 2016. View from outside the CPT apartment. The barbed wire and concrete wall were put up to separate Shuhada Street (only for Israeli settlers) from Palestinians who live in the Old City. There used to be shops in this area.

August 3, 2016. Free range farming? These chickens are not kept cooped up in small cages and are free to wander around, yet they too live in a city under occupation.

July 31, 2016. My friend Ofer Neiman amd I. Ofer is an Israeli who is very active in the struggle against the occupation of Palestine. He does a great job in educating other Israelis. He has is a good friend to me, and to many other activists.
We also share the same national heritage. Ofer's grandparents lived in Poland during the Second World War, and his grandmother was saved from the Nazis by a Polish family of peasants who hid her during the war.

Sameer Samooh, one of my Palestinian friends in Hebron. Sameer works in a shop in the Old City, and has had me over both to his shop and his home where we were treated with great hospitality. He has faced a lot of harassment from Israeli soldiers who sometimes come by his shop to cause problems.
